At Vita Recovery, we understand that addiction recovery is a long process that often requires multiple steps of professional treatment. That’s why we offer an intensive outpatient program at our Miami facility for patients who’ve recently completed detoxification and inpatient treatment, or who are eligible to begin with outpatient care.

When you join us at our upscale facility, you’ll be comforted knowing we function more like a family than a hospital, though our team of clinicians, therapists, case managers, and more are all licensed and/or professionally trained. We can also work closely with you to design an optimal recovery plan that can be flexible when addressing your unique needs. At Vita Recovery, you can recover in luxury—and at your own pace.

For evidence-based addiction treatment and high-end support, contact our team online or by phone today at (305) 707-0047. We speak English and Spanish for our patients’ convenience.

About Our Intensive Outpatient Program

An intensive outpatient program, also known as “IOP,” allows individuals to transition from inpatient programs to independent lives in sobriety, though not all patients need to have gone through inpatient rehab to join IOP.

At Vita Recovery, we have a 4-6 weeks program, depending on the medical and clinical needs of each patient IOP that allows patients to benefit from structured schedules, education, accountability, and access to psychiatric care. When you join us, you can expect to receive comprehensive medical and bio-psycho-social evaluations to help our multidisciplinary team in crafting a unique treatment plan just for you.

Some of the services you’ll receive in IOP include:

  • Weekly psychiatric care
  • Individual and family counseling with a licensed clinician
  • Evidence-based therapy and education in psychotherapy groups
  • Access to resources to help with mental health and sobriety
  • In-depth discharge plans

Our team prides itself on applying innovative and proven techniques and modalities to our treatments—we use 12-step principles, solution-oriented therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational enhancement therapy in our programs.

Our experienced and licensed team, upscale facility, and evidence-based treatment are what make Vita Recovery a one-of-a-kind rehab center.

How Do I Know if IOP is Right for Me?

IOP is a popular form of rehab because it’s an inherently flexible program. Our patients join us in the daytime for hours of therapy and other activities and are then allowed to go home at night, which is often preferable for people who have obligations at home. Though our program is a 4-6 weeks program, we can also adjust this time length depending on your needs.

You may benefit from IOP if:

  • You have a job: We understand how important your work is to you, and that your job may prevent you from staying overnight in an inpatient program. Our case managers can work closely with you to ensure your treatment schedule matches up with your work schedule.
  • You have a family: Whether you’re a parent with young children or a caretaker with responsibilities at home, you can rest assured knowing you can still get the help you need while fulfilling your familial responsibilities.
  • You’ve completed inpatient treatment: IOP is a great way to get readjusted to independent life while still having access to resources and psychiatric care. Our patients typically attend IOP five days a week and eventually step down to three days a week.

Vita Recovery’s IOP is more intense and frequent than other outpatient programs, but we provide individualized care and upscale amenities to put our patients at ease. In IOP, you can gain the tools you need to live a more fulfilling and fun life in sobriety.
